John Cuchna / Xdream Sportz

I met John about 4 years ago through another waterman, Brad Benter. John had just opened a shop dedicated to Kiteboarding, surfing and uncoventional skateboards - Xdream Sportz. Since then, his shop has doubled in size and now he's servicing a major portion of San Diego's kiters. Every time I see John he has a new gadget, moslty related to skateboards. Last weekend before we went surfing he busted out a 50 pound electric motor powered skate board with a remote power control that you hold in your hand. He carries all sorts of crazy toys like this in his shop and is always urging people to demo them in the parking lot. Most days you can find John at the shop, out surfing at one the nearby Cardiff surf breaks, or kiting where the wind is blowing. Stop by Xdream Sportz and say hi - you won't regret it!
